JACKSON, Wyo. — The inaugural Jackson Hole International Film Festival (JHIFF) kicks off this weekend, Dec. 8 to 10, supported through its new partnership with the Hamptons International Film Festival.

Join moviegoers at the National Museum of Wildlife Art for a weekend of cinema and some of this year’s Oscar hopefuls. See the full lineup of films here. Tickets and passes are available for purchase here.  

The three-day festival includes narrative and documentary feature films from around the globe at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, giving the Jackson community a sneak peek to view some of this year’s Oscar hopefuls. Q&As with filmmakers will occur daily following several of JHIFF’s film presentations.

JHIFF offers pre-film parties at National Museum of Wildlife Art on Friday and Saturday evening that are open to all ticket and pass holders, and an after-party with DJ Lauren Chase at the Virginian Saloon on Friday night that is free and open to the public. 

“As we embark on our inaugural three-day event, our hope is to celebrate the art and science of cinema, while also exploring the magic of storytelling as a powerful tool to expand world views,” says Marni Walsh, Executive Director of the Jackson Hole International Film Festival. “We can’t wait to celebrate some of this year’s most anticipated films with our audiences.We are grateful to bring this inaugural festival to our Jackson community.”

Film highlights include the Saturday evening program with the festival’s Centerpiece film, AMERICAN FICTION, which premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the festival’s People’s Choice Award and Friday evening’s film, I’LL BE RIGHT THERE starring Emmy Award? winner Edie Falco and Kayli Carter, with Carter present at the festival for a Q&A following the film.
