JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Fire/EMS annual call response has been increasing every year, and 2022 was no exception.

According to the 2022 statistics summary, Jackson Hole Fire/EMS received 2,394 total calls. The top three categories of calls were rescue/EMS, good intent and false calls. Check out the full breakdown below:

  • 1,466 calls (61 percent) were rescue/EMS
  • 90 calls (almost four percent) were haz mat
  • 13 calls (.5 percent) were vehicle fires
  • 366 calls (15 percent) were good intent
  • 50 calls (two percent) were service/other
  • 11 calls (.5 percent) were structure/building fire
  • 361 calls (15 percent) were false calls
  • 27 calls (one percent) were listed as other fires
  • 10 calls (.4 percent) were wildland fires
