Jackson, WYO- With so many bike shops located in the valley, it can be hard to choose between them. Many Jacksonites are loyal to one shop or another for some reason, but if you haven’t made that choice yet, this guide might help you choose.
Hoback Sports:

What’s popular this season? “E bike is the popular trend right now,” said Matt Poluga Shop Manager. “We have e-bikes for every age rider.”
What setsyou apart? “Instead of throwing away all tires and tubes, we recycle all that can be recycled,” said Matt Poluga Shop Manager. “Another thing that sets us apart is that we do guided mountain bike tours of shadow mountain and munger mountain,” said Matt Haviland, the General Manager. Additionally, they have certified bike fitters, are a certified Rock Shox service center, and have mechanics with “over 90 years of combined experience in the shop.”
Rental: Hoback rents e-bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, and kids bikes. Prices range from $30 to $80.
Hoff’s: 
-Brands Offered: Some popular brands are Rocky Mountain, Devinci,Norco, Pure Fix, Colnago and Evil Bikes.
What’s popular this season? Some of their best sellers are Rocky mountain slayer and the Colnago C60
What sets you apart? They have “lots of people who know bikes well,” said Bryce the manager at Hoff’s and they ”will work on any bike, old or new, and any brand.”
Rental Hoff’s rents pathway bikes and fat tire bikes for $50 a day, hardtail bikes for $75, and full suspension bikes and e-bikes for $100 a day.
Fitzgeralds:
-Brands Offered: Some popular brands are Trek, Surly, Salsa, All-City, Electra, and Pivot
What’s is popular this season? Salsa gravel bikes are popular this year in addition to Pivot Mountain Bikes.“We’ve had a huge response to gravel bikes this season,” said Flynn. “They open up new terrain and are a more versatile bike.” They’ve also been selling a ton of Trek e-bikes. Flynn also mentioned that they will soon be selling the “sickest e-bikes,” riese@muller. “You can put your friend, dog, and picnic in the front of them and ride up the pass.”
What sets you apart? “We’re a rider owned and operated community bike shop,” said Bart Flynn, part owner of Fitzgerald’s. “Some of the most elite bikers are dumping knowledge into this shop,” added Flynn, who himself won this year’s Cache Creek Mountain Bike Race and whose co-owner, Derrick Nobman has won the Targhee enduro in 2016 and 2017. “We hold customer service at the highest regard. I care about getting a person a bike that is perfect for them, regardless of price or availability.”

Wilson Backcountry Sports:

What’s popular this season? “Mountain biking is one of our stronger categories especially because we’re located at the bottom of the pass, but we do a lot of business for people with bikes used for the great pathways,” said owner, Andy Olpin.
What sets you apart? Wilson Backcountry just had their 25th anniversary and the same couple, Andy and Kichan Olpin, have owned the store for all 25 years. “We are also very well integrated with the Wilson neighborhood,” said Andy Olpin. “Our location also sets apart, we have a open door with the bagel shop and have a cool hangout spot on Fish Creek.”

The Hub:
-Brands Offered: Some popular brands are Ibis, Transition, Scott, Benno
What sets you apart? The Hub specializes in top of the line products. “We’re the guys to come to for your custom and high end needs,” said Owner, Hal Wheeler.
