Jackson gets Down(hill): Town Downhill results

This past weekend was the 37th Annual FCExcavation Town Downhill – Mini Hahnenkamm hosted by the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club at Snow King Mountain.

Racers were able to compete in various divisions including “Open Pro” and “Fat and Baggy,” where racers battled wearing their standard ski attire and alpine skis.

Once again this year the “Open Pro” division had equal prize money for both men’s and women’s pro division winners: 1st- $1000, 2nd- $500, 3rd- $250. Over $10,000 total in cash and prizes!

In the Men’s Pro division, Owen Doyle took home first with a total score of 01:49:37. Wow! Gordon Chapdelaine followed in second and Ryan Walters in third.

In the Women’s Pro division, Kristen Leggit came in first, with Kara Munsey and Lexie Drechsel following behind in second and third, respectively.
