JACKSON HOLE, WYO – “The event was a total success,” said Rachel Daluge, talking about the recent food drive scavenger hunt. Daluge, the organization’s operations director, was thrilled with the participation and the full pantry.

About 50 volunteers from Noble House Hotels & Resorts held a food drive benefiting the Jackson Cupboard, our local food pantry. Volunteers split into teams to collect perishable and nonperishable donations from over 30 area businesses and organizations.

“Food just kept coming and coming down the stairs,” marveled Daluge.

The total amount of donations came to 3,158 pounds and included several financial contributions as well. Granola bars, soup, pasta, rice, tooth brushes, and deodorant were just a few of the many donated items.

Daluge wondered whether maybe she shouldn’t be doing this every year. “It’s a great example of how our community pulls together to help those in need,” she said.

The Jackson Cupboard would like to thank the businesses and organizations who donated to the food drive, including Rendezvous Mountain Rentals, Spur Restaurant & Bar, Hotel Terra, Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, Four Seasons, Old Yellowstone Garage, Jackson Hole News and Guide, Dollar Tree, Jackson Hole Airport, Snow King Hotel, St. John’s Hospital, Curran Seeley Foundation, Community Safety Network, Town of Jackson, Town Square Inns – 49er, The Clear Creek Group, Homewood Suites, Anvil, High Country Linen, Alpine House, Teton Barbers, Haagen-Dazs, The Wort, Local/Trio, Cabin & Company, Sotheby’s, Three Creek Ranch, Hatch Taqueria, Department of Family Services, O.A.R.S, and Tegeler and Associates.
