JACKSON, Wyo. — Star Valley play-by-play man Duke Dance called it right when he said the Braves came into Jackson “and just dismantled the Broncs from the tipoff.”

Star Valley handed the Broncs their worst defeat of the season at home on Senior Night by a 64-16 score. The Broncs hit the road the following day to take on Green River, where Jackson surrendered the most points they have all season in an 80-47 loss to the Wolves.

The Broncs play their final game of 2019-20 this Saturday in Evanston. Jackson is still winless at 0-19.

Lady Broncs

The girls team did not fare much better over the weekend. Their loss to Star Valley was by a respectable 53-36 score. Not quite as close as Jackson made it the last time these teams matched up in Afton on January 24.

The Lady Broncs were blown out in Green River, though, suffering a 56-14 defeat to the Wolves. Green River has not lost a conference game this season in five tries. They are 15-4 overall.

The Lady Broncs are 2-17 on the season. They head to Evanston Saturday for the final regular season game. The Devils are one of the two teams the Lady Broncs defeated this year, getting a 47-45 victory over Green River at home back on February 1.
