JACKSON, WYO : Local housing needs have changed a lot since the 1994 requirement for developers to include 25% of new developments to be affordable workforce housing. Currently the average home in Teton County cost 4X’s what a family can afford and 85% of family’s working in Teton County can not afford to own a home here.

Proposed updates to regulations
– Seasonal employee housing requirement has been removed
– Increasing deed restricted housing
– All developers must include housing for their developments
