Night work on Highway 390. (WYDOT)

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Recent moisture has put a damper on construction plans on Highway 390.

Saturday night, the contractor had two paving crews working on approaches. They were able to finish most of the approaches on the north end. On Sunday night, one crew finished the north end and then moved towards the south end paving the mailbox pullouts.

Eventually operations were shut down due to rain. Crews have two remaining mailbox pullouts to pave, as well as three approaches adjacent to the intersection to complete. In addition, crews are waiting for a break in the weather to begin the chip seal as well.

WYDOT is keeping an eye on the weather today and if it cooperates, they will finish paving the mailbox pullouts and approaches this evening. The chip seal is on hold right now and crews are going to evaluate the weather to see if they can start it tomorrow.
