Here’s what’s on the slate for this winter’s Center entertainment

Center for the Arts is please to announce their 2017 winter season lineup; comprised of musical performances and spoken word. The upcoming winter season features a substantial roster brimming with exceptional musicians and speakers:

Dec 27 Robert Randolph & the Family Band
It wasn’t until he was out of his teens that Randolph broke away from the confines of his social and musical conditioning and discovered rock, funk, soul, jazz and the jam band scene, soon forging his own sound by fusing elements of those genres. Tickets and more info.

Jan 10 An Evening with Rufus Wainwright
Praised by the New York Times for his “genuine originality,” Rufus Wainwright has established himself as one of the great male vocalists and songwriters of his generation. Tickets and more info.

Jan 14 An Evening with Samantha Fish, Marcus King, and Judith Hill

Jan 18 The Victor Wooten Trio featuring Dennis Chambers and Bob Franceschini
The band’s new trio format enabled Victor to develop and display a staggering array of fingerboard skills that turned him into a bass hero of epic proportions and helped earn the band their first Grammy. Tickets and more info.

Jan 26 The Moth – Mainstage
The Moth hosts live storytelling events in cities around the world. Tickets and more info.

Jan 30 Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue
