Help a hound, walk a dog this weekend Dog walking Pet sitting Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO –  There are dozens of reasons to volunteer at the animal shelter and even more you might get out of it. The Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter is in desperate need of new volunteers to help exercise dogs and clean kennels.

You might be just one of those persons that is wild about dogs. Maybe you’ve been a longtime dog owner but through a recent death or living situation, you don’t have a furry friend right now and you miss that canine companionship. And nothing provides motivation for hiking and getting out and enjoying Jackson Hole scenery like a dog walk.

These animals deserve a forever home. In the meantime, the least we can do is show these dogs some love.

Call (307-733-2139) or email to get involved and the friendly staff will take it from there.
