JACKSON, Wyo. — The 2024 Healthy Living Festival will take place on Thursday, Oct. 24, where individuals can interact with healthcare professionals, receive free preventative screenings and get information about how to book follow-up appointments with providers.
The Festival is free and will take place at the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center from from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
According to a press release from the Teton County Health Department, this event is designed to focus on those in the community who do not always have the ability to focus on their health, access care or afford services.
Local healthcare providers and social services organizations will be present to conduct
preventative screenings, offer attendees the opportunity to better understand their
health, educate attendees about community programs and provide information about
financial assistance available locally for health and medical needs.
Free flu and Covid vaccines will also be offered, along with free massages and acupuncture for anyone interested.
Food, beverages and Spanish interpretation services will be provided for attendees.
The Healthy Living Festival is co-hosted by the Teton County Health Department, Teton County Parks & Recreation, Teton Free Clinic, St. John’s Health and VoicesJH.
