Heads up, West Bank commuters: work on Highway 22 starts next week Controlled-access highway Traffic congestion Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Wyoming 22 Infrastructure Improvements Project will begin construction on April 24. Evans Construction will be installing new water, sewer, and sidewalk infrastructure to the west end of town. They will be working on the east side of Wyoming 22.

Motorists can expect occasional shoulder work and possibly some lane closures. Access to the properties on the east side of the highway will be made available but may vary in location.

Pedestrian and bicycle access within the vicinity of the project area will diverted. Pedestrians are asked to use the pathway on the west side of Wyoming 22 in the vicinity of the project site. The cycle track on the east side of WY 22 will be closed. Bicyclists should use the west pathway as well, or use caution sharing the lane with vehicular traffic. These changes are to avoid conflicts and dangers associated with construction equipment and operations
