JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson and Teton County have announced several closures for this upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

The Town Hall Administrative Offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 in observation of Thanksgiving. Administrative Offices will re-open on Monday, Nov. 28.

“We wish you a very safe and joyful Thanksgiving,” said the Town.

START Bus has also announced that there will be no commuter bus service on Thanksgiving Day. Full commuter bus service will resume on Friday, Nov. 25. 

Other START routes and services including Town Shuttle routes, Teton Village routes and START on Demand will remain operational on Thursday, Nov. 24.

Beginning Saturday, Nov. 26, the winter bus schedule will be in effect.  This schedule will remain in place until Sunday, April 9, 2023. Please check www.startbus.com for details on all routes, schedules and fees or contact START Bus directly at (307) 733-4521.

The Teton County Trash Transfer Station will also be closed on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.  The Trash Transfer Station will resume normal hours of operation on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. 

The Recycling Center will be closed both Thursday and Friday.

The public is reminded that outdoor recycling bins at the Recycling Center and all community recycling sites are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Please be considerate and flatten all cardboard.  If bins are full, do NOT leave recyclables on the ground.  Try a different community site or hold them until bins can be emptied the following business day.
