JACKSON, Wyo. — Tuesday’s valley rainstorms translated to even frostier conditions on Teton Pass, based on a look at the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s (WYDOT) webcams.

The webcams showed dreary conditions around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, with the roads looking slick and what looked like snowflakes falling.
The National Weather Service’s Riverton office cautioned that snow would be possible at higher elevations on Tuesday.

“Mixed precipitation/light snow is starting to fall across the higher elevations of the Cowboy State,” the agency posted to Facebook.
