JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce has made an announcement asking individuals to refrain from flying drones in the Town of Jackson during the morning of Friday, July 4.

Chamber of Commerce Communications Manager Andrew Kruger sent an email revealing that there will be a flyover by Teton County Search and Rescue during the Fourth of July parade on Friday.

“We are asking that individuals refrain from flying drones in the Town of Jackson from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. due to the helicopter flyover,” Kruger wrote. “This is a safety matter.”

The annual Fourth of July parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday. It will travel north on South Glenwood Street, from Snow King Avenue, before turning east onto Broadway Ave. and passing by the Town Square.
