JACKSON, Wyo. — Bridger-Teton National Forest (BTNF) has announced its plans to conduct pile burns on about 50 acres of the Taylor Mountain area (near Hidden Hills) on the Jackson Ranger District today, Dec. 15.

“Piles are ignited as weather and fuel conditions allow,” BTNF posted to social media Monday morning. “There are no planned closures associated with these activities. Smoke may be visible in the area, please do not report.”

Fire danger on BTNF is considered low.
