Have a WONDERful Thanksgiving: #WonderWednesday

Thanksgiving week is wonder-filled with holiday kick-off events and activities. There’s fun for the whole family and Santa is sure to make an appearance!

Kids, come in and explore your inner science nerd at Wacky Wednesday Science Exploration, with experiments that encourage questions, observation, testing, and solutions at the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum on Wednesday, November 21st at 11:00 am. Mom, the best part: the mess is not in your home!

Everyone in the community is invited to the Elks Free Thanksgiving Dinner from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm on Thursday. Whether you are on your own this holiday, want to bring the whole family, or just want to stop by to spend some time with friends, everyone is invited to this free community event at the Elks Lodge.

Who wants to decorate cookies?! The Jackson Hole Children’s Museum will be open on Friday, Nov 23rd from 9am-4pm. Drop in at 11:00 for a post-Thanksgiving celebration decorating cookies. Cookies and decorations will be provided.

Do not miss one of the best events of the holiday season Friday evening as the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce presents the annual Town Square Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 pm. Santa Claus will be arriving shortly after 5:30 and will be headed back to the North Pole by 7 pm. There will be holiday music and Christmas carols, cookies, and hot chocolate.

Calling Volunteers: Would you like to be an elf? Helpers will be needed beginning at 3:15 pm for setup prior to the event and to for crowd control during the event. Dancer’s Workshop presents a Francesca Romo, NYC-based Gallim Dance co-founder workshop on Tuesday, November 27th where she will guide you through basic contemporary dance techniques and sensation-based improvisation. 6:30-8:00n pm. Additional workshops will be held on December 4th and 11th.
