GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK — Locals and visitors alike can deepen their understanding of Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) with a little help from the pros.

Ranger programs are held daily at different locations in the park, giving folks a chance to learn more about wildlife, park history, the GTNP landscape and more.

“Attending a ranger program can help you have a Grand visit!” GTNP posted to social media. “… Pick up a park newspaper at any visitor center or entrance station for a complete list of programs, times, and locations. You can also ask a ranger for recommendations based on your interests.”

Regular ranger programs are held at the following locations and times:

  • Colter Bay Visitor Center
    • Lakeshore Stroll — Daily at 8:30 a.m.
    • Wildlife & You — Daily at 11 a.m.
    • Junior Ranger Program — Daily at 3 p.m.
    • Evening Talk with a Ranger — Daily at 8 p.m.
  • Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center
    • A Walk into the Past — Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30 p.m.
    • Courtyard Talk — Daily at 4 p.m.
    • Evening Talk with a Ranger — Daily at 7 p.m. (Gros Ventre Campground)
  • Jenny Lake Visitor Center
    • Jaunt Along Jenny — Daily at 9 a.m.
    • Golden Hour at Jenny Lake — Friday through Sunday at 7 p.m.
  • Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve
    • Evening Hike to Phelps Lake — Daily at 5:30 p.m. (Reservations required)
