JACKSON, Wyo. — The popular dog frisbee, horse warmup area at the fairgrounds will be closed to the public for the next two weeks.
In preparation for the Slow Foods in the Tetons Farm-to-Fork festival, the Teton County Fairgrounds Grassy Arena will be closed beginning today through October 5.
On Monday, September 21, the Teton County Fairgrounds began fencing off the Grassy Arena in an effort to keep animals off of the grass. Due to Public Health measures, animals cannot be in the Grassy Arena prior to an event where food is served.
Slow Foods in the Tetons Farm-to Fork festival, October 2-3, is a family-friendly, all-day event to designed to educate and celebrate food, farms and community. The Grassy Arena will be used for a cocktail event on Friday, October 2, followed by the final People’s Market of the year, silent auction, and workshops on Saturday, October 3.
The Grassy Arena will re-open to the public on Monday, October 5.
