JACKSON, Wyo. — The same freak storm that toppled trees and coated windshields with an industrial-strength snow crust this morning also wreaked havoc in Grand Teton National Park.

Credit where it’s due, park staff were out first thing with chainsaws, hardhats and heavy equipment making sure trails and roads stayed clear.
Park officials report all trails are open, though many may be muddy, especially lower elevation trails. Watch for snow in the canyons and higher elevations, as well as downed trees on most trails. Finally, be on the lookout for falling snow and ice from above, falling off trees.
The Moose-Wilson Road remains temporarily closed due to downed trees, power lines and poles. It is unknown when it will reopen. Deadmans Bar Road is open.
