JACKSON, Wyo. — The Tetons are about to be alive with the sound of music.

Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) will begin its 65th season next week. While its home base Walk Festival Hall is being renovated, the musicians will be out and about more than ever. In addition to its program of paid, ticketed shows, GTMF is putting on a huge slate of free events in the community through mid-August.

According to GTMF, recurring Musical Adventures events are fun, informative and engaging music sessions for young children and their adult caretakers, led by GTMF educator Meaghan Heinrich. Other highlights on the seven-week calendar include a community bluegrass jam and a ukulele concert. Some events will be held over in Idaho, with performances scheduled for Victor, Driggs and Tetonia, plus some appearances in Alta, WY.
