WYOMING – The Casper Star Tribune is reporting that the Albany County Sheriff’s corporal who shot and killed a man during a traffic stop last year has been acquitted by a grand jury that found no grounds for a manslaughter charge. Cpl. Derek Colling was facing manslaughter charges after shooting and killing Robbie Ramirez in November 2018. It was the third person Colling has killed while on duty as a law enforcement officer.

In an unrelated case, the Tribune also reported today that Riverton police shot and killed a man who shot at them this morning.
