WYOMING — At the direction of the President of the United States, Governor Mark Gordon has ordered both the U.S. and Wyoming flags to fly at half-staff immediately in honor of the victims of the tragedy in Allen, Texas.

On May 6, a mass shooting took place in an outlet mall outside of Dallas. The New York Times reported nine people were left dead, including children and the suspect.

According to a press release from the Governor’s office, flags statewide will be flown at half-staff from May 8 until sunset on Thursday, May 11.
