JACKSON, Wyo. — On Tuesday, Feb. 15, Governor Mark Gordon released his list of nominees for state offices, boards and commissions that he sent to the Wyoming Senate, which included names from Teton County.

According to a press release from the governor’s office, the nominees are subject to confirmation by the Senate, and the Investment Funds Committee nominees are appointed by a selection panel and not the Governor. All other nominees are appointed solely by the Governor.

Teton County nominees

  • For the Arts Council: Curt Haws for new appointment
  • For Pharmacy: Pharmacist William Jackson for new appointment
  • For the Psychology Board: Psychologist Steven Nelson for new appointment
  • For the Tourism Board: Charisse Haws from Tourism District 6 for reappointment
  • For the Wildlife and Natural Resource Trust Account: Steven Meadows from Judicial District 9 for reappointment

Governor Gordon calls his nominees “some of the brightest and most dedicated in our state.”

Hearings will now be scheduled for the Senate’s confirmation.
