JACKSON, WY — A GoFundMe has been created for Jackson Hole High School teacher Jim Rooks, who was hit by a car on his bicycle on July 24.
Rooks sustained serious injuries in the accident. He got surgery to fuse several vertebrae together and was hospitalized for 10 days. He still has a long recovery ahead of him, his family says, which will include a lot of physical therapy. It’s going to cost a lot of money.
In just three days, 76 people have helped raise almost $8,000 of the $10,000 goal. His family is asking anyone who knows him to donate if and whatever they can. Visit Rooks’ GoFundMe to learn more.
