JACKSON, Wyo.—Born in Munich, Tamara Comolli spent much of her childhood near the beautiful beaches and lakes of Spain, France, and Gibraltar. The relaxed feeling of being near water naturally influenced the designer. Compelled to “redefine fine jewelry by leaving behind the all too dressy, too uniform,” Tamara creates sophisticated and substantial pieces that are exquisitely crafted, yet casual enough for those who appreciate the outdoors to enjoy every day. It is her firm belief that luxury should never be excessive or intimidating but instead fun, natural and easy to wear. By creating jewelry that is surprising and playful, yet understated, sexy and elegant, the collection remains timeless. Each piece is a sublime example of old-world craftsmanship. The India Leaf pendants (shown above on left in Mother-of-Pearl) are an example, with their carefully hand-carved detail on both sides.

Tamara incorporates her hallmark, the water drop, in many designs. With their scintillating colors, shapes and endless variety, gemstones have also inspired her since childhood. Each stone is selected by hand with only flawless pieces making into the collection. All pendants are available on leather chords, in an array of colors (shown above on left with the Mikado Collection) or on 18kt gold chains.
Tamara Comolli Designer Event – Belle Cose Town Square February 12 & 13 and Belle Cose Four Seasons Resort February 14 & 15. Prices start at $540 for the India Leaf Collection and $870 for the Mikado Collection.
