JACKSON, Wyo. — State Senator Mike Gierau will campaign to keep is State Senate District 17 seat, the senator announced today.

Gierau has served on Senate District 17 since 2018. He previously represented Teton County as a representative for House District 16  and served on the Board of County Commissioners and the Town Council.

“Through the last several years, I am proud of the work we have accomplished in the Legislature and the relationships I have formed,” Gierau said in a press release. “Wyoming is seeing a lot of changes, particularly in the last two years, and I hope voters allow me to continue working for the people of Teton County to bring light to the issues we are facing. Our future generations depend on the work we will accomplish in the next years.”

Gierau also owns Jedediah’s Corporation, which operates Jedediah’s restaurants in the airport and in Missoula, Montana.
