JACKSON, Wyo. — Summer in Jackson wouldn’t be complete without the fair coming to town. In anticipation of cotton candy, ferris wheels and barrel racing, here are the important entry dates and deadlines for some of the most beloved events at The Teton County Fair.
Entries to the Figure 8 Races will be accepted until Monday, July 21, at 5:00 p.m. There are 36 openings available and a waitlist of six spots.
In-person and mail-in entries for the Blue Ribbon Exhibit Hall will be accepted until Friday, July 18, at 5:00 p.m. Online entries will remain open until Sunday, July 20, at 5:00 p.m. All exhibits must be dropped off at the Fairgrounds Community Building (accessible from Karns Ave.) on Tuesday, July 22, between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Judging will occur later that day. Exhibit Hall items can be picked up on Monday, July 28, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Entries for the English, Western Performance and Ranch Trail Horse Show close on Thursday, July 17, at 5:00 p.m. Western Dressage Horse Show entries close on Thursday, July 24, at 5:00 p.m. Team Ranch Sorting and Team Branding entries are currently open until Friday, July 11, at 5:00 p.m. Entries for the Fair Rodeo will open on July 14.
