JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Game and Fish answered a call recently to a residence in town where a moose had become stuck in the basement. They asked for assistance from the Jackson Police Department and Teton County Sheriff’s office in getting the moose out of the house.
Officers and deputies hoisted the sedated animal into a game warden’s truck where it was moved to a more appropriate location in the forest.
Teton County Sheriff Matt Carr said he’s pleased the Sheriff’s department was able to help. After a long winter, wildlife is “all struggling right now,” he said.
“We’re glad to be of assistance to help our furry friends out.”
