JACKSON, Wyo. — Champions for Children wants to give you a front-row seat to experience the passion and dedication of early childhood teachers in the community.

Teaching young children is no easy feat, but for teachers like Arianna Mahoney, Children’s Learning Center (CLC) early childhood education teacher, it’s a labor of love. In a recent interview, Mahoney shared what she loves about teaching and the impact it has on her students.

“I really enjoy getting to know the kids on an individual level, watching them grow inside the classroom and bond with each other and bond with me,” Mahoney says.

Mahoney is a part of a community of early childhood educators dedicated to the development of the whole child, including cognitive and social/emotional skills. They use the interests of their students to build, a learning experience that is personalized and engaging. This kind of interpersonal attention to detail is one way these educators impact the youngest learners and leave parents like Lindsey Long, CLC parent, with the peace of mind that their children are in highly-capable and caring hands.

“I am incredibly just in awe of the teachers’ professionalism, and the caliber of teachers like Arianna in our community,” Long says. “It is outstanding and something I could never do…it makes me feel confident knowing that our kids in our community are really going to grow up to be wonderful human beings.”

Join Champions for Children in sharing what Mahoney and Long already know to be true, that early childhood educators are vital to the future success of the community.

The future of little ones depends on the community coming together for a common goal, to increase awareness about the immeasurable impact of early childhood educators and the multitude of obstacles they face.
