JACKSON, Wyo. — Friends of Pathways (FOP) is hosting a “Thanks a Million!” party on Friday afternoon to celebrate more than 1 million bike trips on the local pathway network.

Stop by Garaman Park on Friday, Oct. 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. for a free celebration with live music from Possum Queen. A Facebook event created by FOP says that the community has made approximately 1.4 million bike trips on the system of pathways and protected bike lanes this year.

“Imagine those trips as cars on our already busy roads!” the event states.

The party is to celebrate all who use the pathways, including walkers and cyclists. There will be free barbecue while it lasts, as well as FOP swag and stickers. “Bring a friend and celebrate our pathways together!”
