JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Solid Waste and Recycling will host a free screening of “Wall-E” (2008) this Friday afternoon as part of its Zero Waste Week slate of events.
The Disney/Pixar film follows a lonesome robot tasked with cleaning up mountains of trash from an uninhabitable Earth.
The organization “invites residents, visitors and students to enjoy a movie that entertains, inspires, and reminds us that even the smallest actions can make a big difference. … Funny, moving and full of heart, this film offers a powerful message about waste, sustainability, and what it means to care for our world.”
The screening will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, in the Center for the Arts theater. Teton County School District No. 1 students have that day off from school for a teacher inservice program.
