Update: The Fish Creek Pathway Bridge will be open Friday, Aug. 9 but will be closed Monday, Aug. 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to a delay in construction.
WILSON, Wyo. — The Fish Creek Pathway Bridge in Wilson will close temporarily beginning on Thursday, Aug. 8, so Lower Valley Energy (LVE) crews can install a new power pole and primary power vault/transformer in the area, Teton County has announced.
LVE has posted closure signage and barricades on the bridge as of Thursday afternoon. The work is expected to be completed by the end of Thursday, but the County noted that it was possible the work would need to continue into Friday, Aug. 9, depending on workload and weather.
The public can use the bridge again starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday (and potentially Friday) once the crews depart.
“Teton County and Lower Valley Energy appreciate the public’s patience and observance of the Fish Creek Pathway Bridge closure,” the County said via press release.
