JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole History Museum invites families to enjoy free admission at the Jackson Hole History Museum for Family Old Time Christmas on Saturday, Dec 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 175 East Broadway Ave.
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Kids’ Traditional Crafts
Have fun with guided kids’ crafts including ink-stamped wrapping paper and leather-stamped ornaments. Crafts are suited for all ages; no drop-offs, please. Warm drinks will be served with goodie bags of cowboy cookies to take home while supplies last.
2:00 to 5:00 p.m. – Live Music, Artifacts & Artisans
Listen to live holiday and Western music with Francis Ambrose, check out the History Museum’s special Christmas artifact Pop Up, and browse hand-made artworks for sale by cowboy artisans including Casey Backus, Judy Hatch, Ernie Marsh and Christy Sing.
Don’t forget to view the special, upstairs exhibit presented with the Cowboy Trades Association “Saddle Up! Western Handmade Art and Gear.”
Downstairs, check out the History Museum Store stocked with local gifts perfect for the holiday such as historic Jackson Hole photograph prints. You’ll also find Western silk scarves, Native American ornaments, local history books, as well as kids’ books and games.
