JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation (Parks & Rec) announced the ice rink located at the Teton County Fairgrounds is expected to open Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 12 p.m., with lights staying on until 9 p.m. each night.

According to a Parks & Rec press release, parks staff are working on the ice building process at Owen Bircher ice rink in Wilson and expect it to open in a few days.

The Powderhorn and Alta ice rinks need more snow for ice building. Parks & Rec says staff hope the process can begin early next week with an opening date to be determined.
