JACKSON, Wyo. — In preparation for the 69th Annual Teton County Fair, the Teton County Fairgrounds Grassy Arena will be closed for the next two weeks.

On Wednesday, July 9, Teton County Fairgrounds staff began fencing off the Grassy Arena to keep animals off the grass. Animals cannot be on the Grassy Arena two weeks prior to an event where food will be served, according to Teton County Public Health.

This year, a variety of food vendors and Big Top Tent events including live music, the diaper derby, pie eating contest, wiener and corgi dog races and the cornhole tournament will be held on the Grassy Arena.

The Teton County Fair begins on Saturday, July 19, and wraps up on Sunday, July 27. The Grassy Arena will reopen to the public on Monday, July 28, at 8 a.m.
