JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling (TCISWR) announced that the recycling bins at the Teton County Fairgrounds will be unavailable from Friday, July 19 through Monday, July 29 to make room for the Teton County Fair.
The recycling bins will return by Tuesday, July 30.
While the bins are temporarily unavailable, TCISWR asks residents to take recyclables to another community collection site in town, or to the Recycling Center at 3270 S. Adams Canyon Road. All recyclable collections sites are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
TCISWR reminds the community that recycling sites are for residential use only (this includes residents in and out of Teton County as well as visitors). Businesses need to be utilizing the recycling bins available at the Recycling Center to prevent community recycling containers from overflowing. During the busy summer season, it is especially important to conserve bin space by flattening cardboard boxes.
“Thank you for your cooperation and for recycling!” TCISWR said in the announcement.
