JACKSON, Wyo. — The U.S. National Weather Service’s (NWS) Riverton, Wyoming, office reported that a weather system could move through the region on Wednesday, June 11, potentially causing strong thunderstorms.

The NWS lists the storm’s threat level as “marginal,” with scattered to severe thunderstorms projected to begin Wednesday afternoon into the evening.

“Be weather aware and ready to act,” NWS wrote on Facebook. “Have multiple ways to receive warning information.”
