JACKSON, Wyo. — Evans Construction, a CRH Company is now hiring equipment operators, laborers and drivers; three great positions that will teach the trade of construction, and allow for financial freedom.
Construction is a fast-paced industry offering a variety of experiences and the opportunity for growth and new challenges. It’s also a chance to work hard all summer and take winters off. Evans helps employees to reach their goals, whether that be skiing all winter, or developing a stable career for the family.

Why these positions rock:
Varied experience: The company’s equipment operators and crews work at quarries/pits, on paving projects and more. Employees have the opportunity to see up close how operations run for several lines of business. Drivers only haul locally, allowing them to be home with the family after every shift.
Flexibility: Some employees take advantage of overtime opportunities, working hard during the summer and taking winters off. This flexibility allows ample time to enjoy winter sports, or to use the job as a supplement to another job, like teaching. However, there are opportunities for year-round work, with snow removal opportunities throughout the winter.
Training & advancement: Looking to advance and take on more responsibility? Awesome. Evans will train and develop a new-hire into a company leadership position. Many employees on the company’s leadership team started at entry-level positions, and worked their way up.
Top-of-the-line equipment: Evans offers the best tools to succeed, the fleet of equipment is regularly updated and well maintained. Drivers can clock in, perform pre-trip inspections and keep track of jobs, all from a tablet, provided by the company.
Industry-leading pay: Entry-level laborers start at $25 an hour, and entry-level equipment operators start at $28 an hour, wages will depend on experience. Drivers start at $31 an hour with no experience (CDL required). More experienced drivers have the opportunity to start at more. Regular performance reviews and raises, as well as bonuses are also part of the compensation.
Active lifestyle: Research has shown over and over that being active reduces risk of heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. In the construction industry, laborers, operators and drivers will be moving and grooving every day, and it’s easier to drop a few pounds and develop muscle when the job stays active. This is the perfect industry for those who enjoy an active lifestyle.
Joining the Evans team means being part of a family of families. This is reflected in the benefits package, crafted to support all employees and their loved ones.
