JACKSON, Wyo. — Millward Street between Kelly and Hansen Avenues will be closed today as crews conduct work on the emergency replacement of a water main.

Folks should avoid the area, says the town while crews excavate and install a new water main and connect water services. Traffic will be detoured one way on West Hansen (westbound) and West Kelly (eastbound). Signs will direct travelers.

This project is estimated to take four weeks, weather depending. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The town has asked the public to obey all signage posted during the construction process, especially the “no parking” signs.

“Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification signage, and parking restriction signage as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers,” said the town.

The public can contact the Town of Jackson Engineers with questions at 307-733-3079.
