JACKSON, Wyo. — Election Day is right around the corner. Ready to cast those votes?

Teton County residents can vote at the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5, or early via absentee ballot. All absentee ballots must be received by the Teton County Clerk’s Office by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, to be counted. The early voting center is also open to voters Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Nov. 4.

A voter’s ballot will vary depending on their physical address.

For those curious about what their ballot will look like, precinct-specific samples are available from the county here. Voters can consult this map to see what district and precinct they reside in to direct them to the form they will see at the polls.

Here’s an example of what voters will encounter at the polls:

Federal offices being decided this year include the U.S. President and Vice President, U.S. Senator and U.S. Representative. Depending on what precinct people live in, they could also be voting for candidates for the State Senate and State House of Representatives, along with a Precinct Committee Man and Precinct Committee Woman.

Residents registered in Jackson proper will vote for a new Mayor and two new members of the Town Council.

All Teton County residents can vote for two candidates to fill seats on the Teton County Board of County Commissioners. Voters can select four candidates apiece for the Teton County School District #1 Board of Trustees and the St. John’s Hospital District Board of Trustees.

Also on the ballot: the proposed Special Excise Tax (SPET) to collect funding for a new County Justice Center.
