DUBOIS, Wyo. — It’s time to get spirited! The Dubois Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to two major Fourth of July celebrations this year.

First, on Wednesday, July 3, enjoy a Street Dance party from 6 to 10 p.m. on E. Ramshorn and N. First Street. Enjoy music by Play It Again Entertainment and a food truck offering Cornman’s Kettle Corn.

Then, the annual Fourth of July parade is back for another year on Thursday, July 4. Festivities kick off at 10:30 a.m. with games for kids in Dubois Town Park, hosted by Kiwanis of Dubois. Pre-Parade Games will be hosted by the Mountain Grace Baptist Church from 1:30 to 2 p.m.

At 2 p.m., it’s parade time! This year’s parade theme is “Celebrating Wyoming’s Heritage.” The fun begins at Town Park and heads east on Ramshorn. Don’t forget about the Ice Cream Social following the parade, held at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church from 3 to 5 p.m.

Fireworks begin at dusk.

Travelers are reminded that Highway 26 will be closed for the parade from approximately 1:45 p.m. to 3 p.m. Those driving on 26 during that timeframe should expect delays in getting through Dubois. The Wyoming Dept. of Transportation and 511 Notify alerts will keep drivers up to date on the closure.
