JACKSON, Wyo. — Who wants to play fetch?

Local canines and their humans can use the seasonal dog park on the west side of the County Fairgrounds beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 4, Teton County has announced. The park will be open daily from sunrise to sunset through May 1, 2027, weather permitting.

This season, the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with PAWS, which will provide mutt mitts and oversee dog waste collection.

“Visitors are encouraged to be respectful of fellow dog owners and help keep the park clean by picking up after their pets, ensuring everyone can enjoy a safe and welcoming space,” the County said in the statement.

Dog lovers who snap a photo of their dog enjoying the dog park are encouraged to submit it to tips@buckrail.com to be featured in our annual Powder Hounds albums.
