JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Community School will host diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) research and training professional Domanick Walker at a free event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 15.

Walker will discuss the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and share his expertise on DEI practices.

According to the school, Walker possesses more than a decade of experience in DEI practices and culturally responsive pedagogy.

“He has worked closely with counselors, educators, administration, partners and families to plan and coordinate action plans most effective for student/teacher growth and development,” the school said in the event announcement. “He is committed to improving the lives and social situations of students, adults and families, understanding that building community is the foundation of any successful educational institution.”

The event will take place on Monday evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Jackson Hole Community School Commons. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
