JACKSON, Wyo. — It’s time to fall back.

Daylight saving time will come to an end this Sunday, Nov. 3, at 2 a.m. Clocks will need to be set back one hour, and most smart devices should update on their own.

The return to standard time means, according to our clocks, the sun will rise “earlier” and set “earlier” in the evening. The time will change again on March 9, 2025.

Under federal law, daylight saving time is observed between the second Sunday of March and the first Sunday of November. Efforts have been made to do away with the semiannual time changes, but Arizona and Hawaii are the only states that are exempted currently.

Enjoy the extra hour of sleep!
