JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Emergency Management issued an evacuation alert on Monday afternoon advising Darwin Ranch area residents to prepare to evacuate due to the Pack Trail Fire.
On the agency’s scale of “Ready, Set, Go,” the Darwin Ranch area is now in the “Set” stage. On Sunday night, the Upper Gros Ventre area east of Goosewing Ranch was moved into the “Go” stage.
“Visibility in area will be reduced and roads/evacuation routes can become blocked,” the alert reads. “Prepare now to evacuate when advised by local officials. If you require extra time to evacuate due to special needs, start to leave now.”
The Pack Trail Fire is now 77,559 acres in size with 639 personnel, according to BTNF.
