JACKSON, Wyo. — In the world of movement, we do not typically think of technology. Yet in these unprecedented times, technology is the single enabler to sharing movement. The power of that sharing keeps us connected to one another even when we’re unable to in person.
The launch of Dancers’ Workshop online classes on March 19, the first day of spring, was as memorable as it gets as professional dance instructors continued to provide their expertise to loyal clients. The feelings during this launch were nearly indescribable as professional livelihoods were supported and personal rewards were provided through movement. Unbelievable.
Since this launch last Thursday, DW has been able to offer the go-to classes that community members have come to know and love — Ballet, bootybarre, Gyrokinesis®, MELT®, Modern & Latin Dance, Pilates Mat, Salsa and Zumba Fitness.
In addition, new movement classes were launched, including Classic Aerobics, Happy Hour Hip Hop, Line Dancing and Saturday Night Sass.
Wednesday, March 25 marks the end of DW’s first week of online classes — but this is just the beginning as current and new online classes will continue to be offered moving forward. DW remains committed to enriching lives by providing excellence and diversity in movement experiences through education, performance and outreach for students and audiences of all ages.
