JACKSON, Wyo. — The first COVID-19 community update since May will be held virtually tomorrow Sept. 1 at 12 p.m.

Representatives from St. John’s Health, the Teton County Health Department, the Jackson Town Council and the Teton County Board of County Commissioners will provide the update.

The meeting will be streamed live on the Town of Jackson website.

According to the press release, “This update will enable our community to hear from local experts about the current situation, mitigation measures in place, resources currently available and actions that we as individuals can take to help keep ourselves, our loved ones and this entire valley safe and healthy.”

“As individuals, there are two important actions you can take to interrupt the spread: wear a mask and get vaccinated if you are able. Our community is working together for the best possible tomorrow.”

The Jackson Town Council voted unanimously to extend the mask order through Dec. 31.
