JACKSON HOLE, WYO – With work completed on the repair of Cattleman’s Bridge and a roundabout in place at Gros Ventre and N Highway 89, the county is ready to start talking about improvements on Spring Gulch Road.
A meeting has been scheduled for next week to discuss paving the popular airport cutoff all the way through. The meeting will be an open house format with plans and exhibit materials available for public review and comment.
Teton County Engineering staff is currently working on plans for improvements on Spring Gulch from the intersection with Lucas Riva Road to Bar BC Ranch Road including paving of gravel sections. Engineers are also looking at design concepts to reduce speeds such as signage, creative striping, and speed tables. In addition, various speed calming measures are being considered on Spring Gulch from the Gros Ventre River to Sagebrush Drive.
The meeting will be held on Monday, February 11, from 4-6pm at the North Grille at Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club (5000 N. Spring Gulch Road).
