JACKSON, Wyo. — On Monday, April 15, Teton County announced that Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling (ISWR) has launched a Community Waste Diversion Survey to aid in the community’s goal to divert 60% of all waste from the landfill by 2030.

The survey’s goal is to gather information to enhance the County’s waste reduction, reuse opportunities, recycling and composting efforts.

“The success of our community’s waste management initiatives rely on understanding your priorities, identifying barriers and gauging the perceived importance and effectiveness of current programs,” Teton County states on its website.

The survey’s questions, including “Which of the following waste reduction initiatives do you find most beneficial or effective?” are available in Spanish and English.

Responses and suggestions will be used to develop future community initiatives to divert the valley’s waste.
